Vidya-Siddharth misled media about wedding
After giving the paparazzi a hard time with the venue of the wedding, tied Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur knot on green gift, a bungalow in Bandra. This bungalow is the same place where Vidya has shot numerous commercials with his mentor filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar.
Mid reports that a traditional South Indian wedding was to take place at a temple in Chembur, chose Vidya and Siddharth this bungalow in Bandra, which they felt was more suitable for the occasion and more private.

Nobody, not even close family friends and relatives told of the venue. They were just asked to sit in the vehicle that comes to pick them up and move on to the place. All guests arrived around 7 am. A vadhiyar (priest) was called in to perform the wedding rituals and contrary to reports that it was a traditional south Indian wedding, it was a mixture of Tamil and Punjabi rituals. Vidya wore a saree designed by Sabyasachi.
The whole bungalow had been sealed for security reasons. Nearby buildings also were sealed, so no pictures of the ceremony is leaked. Caregivers were asked to remain silent and asked to click any pictures of the bride and groom. Only immediate members of both families were present.
